Journeyman Pin and Insulator changeout

This is a simulated energized event. Please disregard the 10 point deduction for failing to isolate, test, and ground. Thanks guys for bringing this to our attention....

Can screwdriver be used to lay phase on ,as long as proper cover up is used, and does it have to be tied to pole.

Yes...a screw driver may be used...as long as it is covered properly ...you do not have to tie it to the pole....thanks for asking

Will there be a hole drilled near the top of the pole to place a screw driver or bolt into it to hold the phase ? Many persons trying to drive a screw diver into the same area may cause an issue for competitors.

Great Question....Keep practicing with the screw driver...I will discuss this with the judges and get their opinions... if they agree we might install a screwdriver and leave it there..if they do ...you will be one step ahead ...thanks
